My cat Tullah is gone. She succumbed to the disease. I am very lonely in the house and sometimes I think I hear her and then I realize she's not here anymore. Crap.

The holidays are over-meaning our "Fall Break Thanksgiving Combo" that Ole Miss allows in the fall semester. Better late then never? Ummm well...

While I was on this hiatus I did F*#@ all that I REALLY needed to do. Examples follow: grading, making art for my upcoming shows, cleaning the house, job searching, etc. Instead I farted around making a 3 color lithograph, framed 3 works for a Holiday Show at a gallery called Bozarts in Water Valley (actually this was productive) and I went to see a movie and drank a whole hell of a lot. Nice Holiday overall.


The movie I saw was the new Bond flick. Finally I was a Bond Girl!! Miss Fields!! My heart jumped when I heard it.
I also want to justify what I've been saying about the New Bond Man- Daniel Craig. He looks exactly like the sexiest man of all time...Steve McQueen. MMMmmmmm Bullit.

Back to writing the story for the Oxford Town and back to reality. 2 weeks and then next vacation. For those of you in St. Louis reading this I will be in town this weekend. I will be up for a show at the Good Citizen Gallery at 2247 Gravois Ave, St. Louis MO, 63104-2852. I think the opening begins at 7pm on Friday Dec. 5th. I will try to make it for 7:30. It's a 5.5 hour drive for me.

Eff a bunch of this shit

If I told you I need water, would someone please go and fix the water line that is absolutely fucking up my day. Thank god I have 4 toilets in this house so I can at least take a piss with no worries.

I phoned the water company. They told me to call the police department. What the? SO I did and the lady told me a water line was corrupt...corrupt? Was it in jail after partying too hard last night? I mean, really.

Thanks to my friend Brooke, we have documentation of the experience: bloody marys, mimosas, family, and some Hotty Toddy action. It sleeted for a bit. The other excitement was that Ole Miss won 59-0 over University of Louisiana at Monroe. Ahhh what a lovely saturday.

Thanksgiving (Ole Miss Fall Break-finally a respite) is around the corner.

For my break I have lots of work to do...I have a commission for silkscreens on acoustic panels for the Lyric (http://www.thelyricoxford.com/gallery.aspx) to begin and finish (fingers crossed) before I hit 55 southbound. I'm working with Milly Moorehead West on getting these monstrous things of beauty completed!

I look forward to spending time with my family and reconnecting. Even though I am in Mississippi now, I still have a hard time getting away from the job to see family. May sound crazy, but my days are filled and I rarely leave my office or the print shop before 8pm. I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. I have a signed book for Lydia, May, and Ellen. I met Laurent DeBrunoff, the Babar man, and had to get some books for the girls. Very excited about giving the books to them.

The contact lens in my left eye had an adventure last night. It slipped to the back of the eye socket and tried to look into my skull. Silly thing. It now resides in the pipes of the back sank. I bet it is clinging to the sides awaiting its revenge.
